Alex Zwarenstein is one of
New York's foremost architectural
painters and etchers. A graduate of
the Royal Academy of Art in London,
his
images
are atmospheric, trending toward the
surreal while still incorporating
strong elements of architecture and
figuration.

The site includes a custom
home page, 5 galleries
featuring works from different phases of
the artist's career, a sketchbook, a
page of etchings and the artist's
biography.
The design for the site and
the layout of the pages were
influenced by the imagery of
the artwork, and presentation of the
work was meant to simulate an
experience in which the viewer would
view the works as if in a physical
gallery space.
The
artist had excellent photos of his
work, and worked very closely on
selecting the colors of the site, as
well as the dimensions and other
presentation decisions.
The
site was in production within 5
weeks of the initial consultation. |
